A busy programme for the DLSS

This year has been busy for the Dorothy L Sayers Society. We’ve had a number of Zoom events for members around the world, including readings of plays and a talk by Gina Dalfonzo on the relationship between DLS and CS Lewis. Gina’s Book, Dorothy and Jack, is a must read for devotees of both Lewis and Sayers.

We have also had in-person events: a visit to the Bodleian for a tour of Duke Humfrey’s Library, where Harriet Vane works in Gaudy Night. We also visited the ‘Pets and their People’ Exhibition and finished the day with afternoon tea at Quod on the High.

The next event, on 25th June, was the Annual Dorothy L Sayers Lecture which was given by the author, Sophie Hannah, who has written the Christie continuation novels featuring Hercule Poirot.

We are looking forward to more events this year. Please see the Events page for more information.
